2011

I can’t believe another year has gone by. It seems like just yesterday that Mrs.Mukherjee was reprimanding me for trolling Omar. 

Wow, 2011. A year goes by so quickly. I honestly cannot believe it. This year has probably been the most eventful year of my life. From grades to love, everything has happened. The year when I was seriously depressed and contemplated suicide, the year I first felt real, true affection for someone. Grades weren’t as good as I hoped they would be, valedictorian hopes gone in the first year. 

Hopefully, this year won’t have any disappointments. Everyone says this, but I truly want to live this year without a single regret. I want to be able to meet everyone else’s expectations of me, but most importantly, I want to be able to meet my own expectations this year.

Failure

I just can’t meet the expectations. Just got rejected to be a science camp counselor, not even waitlisted. I also failed my chem test, so right now I have a B in Math, and an 88 in Chem and an 89.472 in English.

Just so many people around me are 10x better at everything I do. Literally everything I do they can do better. It feels like I’m going nowhere, like I’ll never amount to anything.

What a feeling.

Karma

Anecdotal evidence:

A) I found wallet on BART. I turn it in, and the lady even states that karma will reward me. That same day, I lose my phone.

B) I find $50 on the ground at Fremont Park. (Who even carries around $50 bills) I turn it in and the person does not even say ‘thank you.’ Right after, some dumbass steals my mat and proceeds to take around 30 minutes to hit like 10 balls. 

Karma does not reward, it only bites your ass after you do something bad. 

After almost 16 years, I believe I have discovered my purpose in life. My purpose is to be a tool for other people to poke fun at and make themselves feel better and a resource for people to use and dispose of at their will.
